Officially as pregnant as ever!

Well, I am now to the point where I had Charity so I'm as pregnant as I've ever been. lol. We are definitely on to the waiting game now. I know she could come at any time, but I also know she could hang around in there for 3 more weeks or more! The office lady at my doctor's office yesterday when she was scheduling my next appointments asked if I went over due if she could laugh. LOL. Apparently she goes overdue with all of hers and loves it when people who have gone early before go over. I told her yes, I still doubt she'll have the opportunity but I told her yes. Ahh, well, it's better for her to wait until Dennis is done with his class anyhow, just a week left and it will be all done!

Mom has said that she pretty much has everything ready to go so we'll see how long it takes them to get down here once we call to let them know I'm in labor. lol! Hopefully not too long cuz we want Dad to watch Charity for us!!! Oh, I updated my photo, that was me on Monday so not quite 37 weeks, only 36 1/2 but I figured I'd better take it while I was thinking about it!

To Go or Not to Go!?!

So, I really want to take Charity to Hogle Zoo, but is it such a good idea? A 36 week pregnant woman taking her almost 2 year old toddler to the zoo!?! I just can't decide!!! Dennis isn't able to go because next week is his final week of classes and then he has his final on Friday. (he keeps trying to convince the baby she needs to stay in until after that! lol) So, he's going to be busy all weekend and won't be able to go with us.

I just can't decide!!! Ahhhh... well, I'll let you know when I do!

Well, almost ready

We pretty much have everything ready that we need to get done before the baby gets here. So, I guess I'm almost ready. lol. Only about 5 weeks until my due date! But I want to make sure to have EVERYTHING done and ready in the next two weeks, just in case. lol. I have a few items to add to my hospital bag, we might buy a mobile, and some diapers and if I can ever talk Dennis into it (I'm sure I won't) a dresser for the girl's room. Everything else I got done this last week with my mom here so that's nice.

Although I've got to admit, I'd love to have the house completely spotless before she gets here ofcourse that would require cleaning it until it was spotless every single day! ROFL. So, I guess for now we are just onto the waiting game... But why do I not feel ready yet? lol. Am I forgetting something that needs to be done? If you can think of anything, please enlighten me!

How long do you have to sit at the doctor's office!?!

Ok, so first a quick little update :) Water aerobics was a lot of fun. Mom really enjoyed it and then I ended up getting to go again on Thursday which was really nice. Since my friend that I go with is due the same day as me we're really hoping to get to go a couple more times before either of the babies come but her swimsuit is almost to the breaking point so we'll see how many more times we go!

Now, onto my rant for the day... Yesterday Dennis had an eye appointment. (boy, it sux when there is only 1 specialist in an area!). Anyway, his appointment was at 3:30 in Salt Lake so I left a little after 2 to go pick him up since he rode the van pool that morning and then we got to his appointment a little before 3:30. Then we waited and we waited... Finally they called him back and he met with one of the nurses who just checked his eyes a bit and then sent him back to the waiting room (standard practice here, i don't understand it!) to wait for an exam room with the doctor. By this time it was now 4:30 or so. I called mom to let her know we were going to be later than expected. A little after 5, Dennis called his home teaching companion to let him know he may not make it in time to go home teaching. Finally he got called back again a little after 6! That's right, I said six. Then we sat in the exam room for FOREVER! The other doctor in the practice came in for a few minutes at one point cuz he wanted to take a look at Dennis' eye. After a half hour or so one of the ladies checked on us to see if we'd been seen yet, seeing I was pregnant she ended up getting me a glass of apple juice and some graham crackers which was nice. Finally the doctor came in, spent 5 minutes with him to say good, there's been no change, come back in 5 months. Fun. We got out of there a little after 7 and didn't get home until 8!!! Seriously!?! It was a ridiculous experience! But atleast Dennis and I got to spend some time together, right?

My mom is coming!

Yay my mom is coming to visit for the week! It'll be so nice having her around to help this week. I'm just feeling so overwhelmed lately. There is so much left still to do and so little time left. I can't believe the baby could be here in 3 1/2 - 6 1/2 weeks. What a wild ride it's been though! Anyway, while mom is here I may take her to water aerobics with me to see how she likes it. I can't get her hooked though cuz there is no where nearby her where she could keep going, but I think she'd really enjoy it. It will be interesting to see though, that's for sure. But there is a little old lady who comes who walks with a walker but she does fine in the pool so I figure mom should as well.

Well, General Conference is on and I need to be paying better attention so I better get going. I will try to update more later.
